By accessing or using Vendor Shield (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
Vendor Shield provides tooling to assess third-party vendors using: (a) open-source intelligence (OSINT) scanning and trust/security page discovery, (b) AI-assisted analysis of public information, and (c) optional document parsing features for SOC 2 and PCI DSS reports you upload. Results are informational only and intended to support—not replace—your professional judgment.
The Service may reference or interact with third‑party services and platforms (e.g., trust centers or LLM providers). We do not control and are not responsible for third‑party services, their availability, or their terms and policies.
We handle user data in accordance with our platform’s privacy practices. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate rights and notices for any data you submit. Do not submit personal data unless necessary for your use of the Service and permitted by law.
Features may evolve over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with or without notice. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Service and its operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for any violation of these Terms or suspected abusive activity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the Service operator’s place of business, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
